We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night.
