And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
