And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
