We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
