And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
