And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
