Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
