We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
