Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
