And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
