We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
