And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
