And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
