And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
