And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
