And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
