We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night.
