And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
