We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
