We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
