And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
