Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
