We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
