And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
