Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
