Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
