Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
