We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
