And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
