And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
