And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
