Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
