Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
