Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
