And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
