And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
