We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
