Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 154 Why do you not reflect? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
