Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 we are the rangers, 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
