Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 and [this time] they believed [in him] and so We allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them? 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 We glorify God." 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
