Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 What, would they then say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
