S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Sad. By the Qur'an full of admonition. 1 In fact, the unbelievers are the ones who are boastful and quarrelsome. 2 How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! 3 And they marvel that there should come unto them a warner from among themselves. And the infidels say: this is a magician and a liar! 4 “Has he made all the Gods into One God? This is really something very strange!” 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 We have not heard of this in later religion. This is naught but an invention. 7 Can it be that he alone has received the Quran?" In fact, they have doubts about My Quran and this is because they have not yet faced (My) torment. 8 Or is it that they have the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Mighty, the great Giver? 9 Or [that] the dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them is theirs? Why, then, let them try to ascend [to God-like power] by all [conceivable] means! 10 A very host of parties is routed there! 11 The people of Nuh and Ad, and Firon, the lord of spikes, rejected (apostles) before them. 12 And Thamud, and the people of Lut, and the Companions of the Wood; - such were the Confederates. 13 There was not one but belied the apostles, wherefore justified was My wrath. 14
