And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
