And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
