And remember Our bondman Ayyub (Job); when he cried out* to his Lord, “The devil has struck me with hardship and pain.” (After seven years of patience.) 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 and other such torments. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
