Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 all this will be theirs; let them taste it -- a scalding, dark, foul fluid, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
