Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
