Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 Remember also Our servants Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhul Kifl; each is among the excellent. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64
