Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
