Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
